The Telegram assistant

Formule has an assistant that lives in Telegram. Once your chat is linked it answers questions about your work — your leads, your follow-ups, your numbers — and can make small changes for you while you are between viewings.

What it can actually do

Ask it in plain language. Behind the scenes it can:

• Find leads — by name, by phone number, by status, or just the unassigned ones.
• Open a lead — contact details, what they enquired about, the full history.
• Tell you what needs attention — leads that have gone quiet, follow-ups due today, nudges waiting for you.
• Search listings and find which of your leads match a property — or which properties match a lead.
• Report your numbers — how your pipeline is doing.
• Write things down — add a note to a lead, change a lead’s status, schedule a follow-up, mark one done.

Useful things to type:

Who hasn’t been called this week? What’s the number for the couple asking about the Sliema loft? Set Adrian Gauci to Appointment and remind me Friday morning. Any leads that match the new Msida duplex?

It only sees what you see

The assistant runs as you. An agent asking about leads gets their own; a branch manager gets the agency’s. It cannot show you anything you could not see by signing in yourself — the same rules apply, enforced in the same place.

Linking your chat

You do this once, from your profile.

1. Open Profile from your name at the top right, and find the Your assistant card.

2. Press Open in Telegram. Telegram opens on the Formule bot.

3. Press Start in Telegram.

4. Come back to Formule, copy the one-time code from the card, and send it to the bot as a message.

The card then reads Linked to Telegram as your name, and you are done.

The code expires

It works once, and only for a few minutes — the card shows the exact time. If it has lapsed, reload your profile for a fresh one.

Unlinking

Press Unlink on the same card. The assistant immediately stops treating that chat as you — “The assistant no longer knows that chat is you.”

Do this if you change phones or lose the device.

One bot, every agency

There is a single Formule bot for every agency. It is the link between your Telegram chat and your Formule account that decides who you are, which is why the code matters and why you should not forward it.

When it does not answer

• It says it doesn’t know who you are. The link has been broken or never completed. Redo the steps above.
• It cannot find a lead you can see in the app. Try the phone number — it is matched exactly and is the most reliable handle.
• Nothing happens at all. Check you pressed Start; a bot cannot message you first.
